Dr. Dana Clark Achieves Board Certification in Orthopaedics

Dr. Dana Clark of the Orthopaedic & Spine Center of the Rockies has achieved board certification in the specialty of orthopaedics.

Dr. Clark recently passed his board certification exam administered by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.

The exam consisted of an intensive interview and review of patientsМ_ surgery results. The interview was conducted by several examiners who are respected, experienced physicians. The examiners were chosen by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery to question candidates for board certification.

Dr. Clark joined the Orthopaedic & Spine Center of the Rockies in 2009 as a specialist caring for patients with knee or hip pain who need joint replacement surgery.

Prior to joining OCR, he completed his advanced (fellowship) training in hip and knee replacement surgery at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City (2008-09).

Prior to the fellowship, Dr. Clark underwent his five-year orthopaedic residency at the University of South Carolina-Greenville Hospital System (2003-08). He earned his medical degree from the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque (1999-2003).

Outside of medicine, Dr. Clark enjoys spending time with his family, as well as mountain biking, skiing, and rock climbing.
