Orthopaedic Center of the Rockies Hosts Annual MS Walk May 2, 2009
The Orthopaedic Center of the Rockies is pleased to host and help sponsor the annual MS Walk fund-raiser in Fort Collins on Saturday, May 2, 2009.
The event, which raises funds to support research into treatment for multiple sclerosis, will begin and end at the Orthopaedic Center (OCR), 2500 E. Prospect Road.
The Fort Collins MS Walk offers participants several distance options that range from 1 to 3 miles along the Spring Creek Trail, part of the city’s bicycle-pedestrian trail system.
Check in begins at 8 a.m. and the walk gets underway at 9 a.m. The Fort Collins event is one of 10 MS Walks that take place around Colorado in May.
OCR is generally closed on weekends, except for patients with appointments for MRI scans. Aside from MRI parking, walk participants may use OCR parking lots.
For more information about the MS Walk, go to www.walkmscolorado.org or call the MS Society at 1-800-344-4867.
