Nathan A. Hunt, DPM
Dr. Nathan Hunt is a podiatrist (foot and ankle physician specialist) who has patient appointments in our Fort Collins and Loveland, CO offices. He joined the Orthopaedic & Spine Center of the Rockies in 2010.
Dr. Hunt also specializes in taking care of patients who havew diabetic foot and wound care problems.
Dr. Hunt has experience with many kinds of foot and ankle conditions. He takes care of patients from OCR's service area of northern Colorado, Wyoming, and western Nebraska.
He has advanced training in general podiatry and diabetic foot and wound care techniques through an intensive, two-year fellowship program (2008-2010). Fellowship programs provide additional medical training for a doctor following the completion of a residency program. Dr. Hunt's fellowship was in patient care and research for diabetes and chronic wounds of the foot and ankle. The fellowship was sponsored by the American Diabetes Association and the American Podiatric Medical Association.
Dr. Hunt enjoys helping people of all ages regain their health and ability to walk and engage in their favorite sports or recreational pursuits.
At OCR, he is a member of the Foot and Ankle Team of physicians -- together with Drs. Michael J. Houghton, Wesley P. Jackson, and Thomas M. Hecker. Drs. Houghton and Jackson are orthopaedic surgeons and specialize in the athletic and reconstructive surgery of the foot and ankle. Drs. Hunt and Hecker are podiatrists.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Hunt enjoys spending time with his family, along with running, reading, and writing.
