Sports Outreach

The athletic trainers (ATC staff) for the Orthopaedic & Spine Center of the Rockies work at 5 area high schools and provide on-site sports medicine care at regional sporting events. They also assist with patient care in our therapy department at our Fort Collins, CO clinic.

The athletic trainers provide rapid treatment of athletic injuries, as well as care that can help prevent injuries or keep a small injury from getting worse. They also work with athletes in the therapy department, assisting with their rehabilitation and return to play.

All of the athletic trainers employed at Orthopaedic & Spine Center of the Rockies are certified by the NATABOC, the national credentialing association for athletic trainers.

The Athletic Trainers work with:

• High Schools in Fort Collins and Windsor
• Colorado Eagles
• Fort Collins Force
• Colorado Lightning
• Colorado Ice
• High School, College, and PRCA rodeo events

 Our athletic trainers assist USA Wrestling in providing sports medicine care both at domestic and international events.The athletic trainers with OCR have provided care at multiple World Championships and Olympic Games.
