Kenneth Duncan, MD 
Dr. Ken Duncan is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in the care of people who have hand, arm, elbow, and shoulder conditions and injuries. He sees patients in our Fort Collins and Loveland, CO offices.
Dr. Duncan concentrates his practice on disorders and injuries of the hand, arm, and elbow (the upper extremities). His practice includes many patients with work-related injuries and conditions. He also treats people with other type of orthopaedic injuries.
Dr. Duncan joined Orthopaedic & Spine Center of the Rockies in 1988, after completing his fellowship in hand and upper extremity surgery at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Duncan holds board certification through the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
Dr. Duncan is currently working on an orthopaedic research project to assess the performance of an implant to replace damaged bone in the forearm. The implant is made of pyrocarbon, a form of carbon similar to graphite that is known for its durability. Several other physicians at OCR are also participating in this research, which has been approved by the Poudre Valley Health System Institutional Review Board (IRB).
Dr. Duncan takes care of patients from OCR's service area of northern Colorado, Wyoming, and western Nebraska.
He is a native of Missouri, and enjoys many outdoor activities, especially long-diatance running, kayaking, and rock climbing.
