Outpatient Surgery & Recovery Center

Specialized surgical services and comfortable, private recovery rooms located at our Fort Collins site. Surgical services include arthroscopic surgery to more invasive joint and spine surgery.

OCR's Outpatient Surgery Center opened its doors in 1990, offering patients the opportunity to have surgery without a hospital stay. As technology has advanced and people's knowledge and level of confidence in medical procedures have increased, so have the number and types of procedures performed in an 'outpatient' setting. Our physicians do approximately 70% of all orthopaedic surgery in the surgery center, with the remaining procedures performed in the hospital setting.

The Recovery Center provides 10 private rooms and 24 hour nursing care for those patients who need one or more nights of supervised recovery time after surgery. The Recovery Center, unlike larger hospitals, will provide quiet comfort for the patient and family, delicious catered meals, tv and music in each room, a family lounge for relaxation, and to help the healing process.
