Mark McFerran, MD 
Dr. Mark McFerran is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon who takes care of patients in our Loveland, CO office.
As a trauma surgeon for orthopaedic injuries, Dr. McFerran is often called to one of the area medical centers where he leads trauma teams through the toughest of cases -- many nights, when he is not even “on call."
His calm approach to problems has earned him the recognition of being the patient's friend.
Dr. McFerran, a Colorado native, completed fellowship (advanced) training in orthopaedic trauma surgery in Munich, Germany. A fellowship gives an orthopaedic surgeon an additional, focused year of patient care in their specialty area.
His practice also includes joint replacement surgery (total hip and knee surgery) and general orthopaedic care. Dr. McFerran takes care of patients from OCR's service area of northern Colorado, Wyoming, and western Nebraska.
Dr. McFerran holds board certification from the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
Dr. McFerran, an avid outdoorsman, lives with his family in Loveland.
