Sean Grey, MD 
Dr. Sean Grey is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in the treatment of shoulder injuries and conditions. He sees patients in our Fort Collins, CO office.
Dr. Grey's practice is known for the results of surgery he performs for athletic and other shoulder injuries and conditions, operations such as such as total shoulder replacement, rotator cuff repair, and reverse shoulder arthroplasty/replacement.
He holds board certification through the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Grey completed his fellowship training in sports medicine from the University of Colorado-Orthopaedic Assoiates of Aspen. Fellowship training provides physicians with an additional or sixth year of specialized surgical training following completion of their residency. Dr. Grey did his residency at the University of Colorado.
In addition, he has undertaken advanced training in reconstruction techniques of the shoulder at Columbia-Presbyterian Hospital in New York.
Dr. Grey, Dr. Steve Yemm, and Dr. Rocci Trumper serve as Team Physicians for the Colorado State University athletic department.
Dr. Grey is also one of the OCR physicians who provides team medical services for the Colorado Eagles hockey team. He has been medical director of OCR's Surgery Center since 2004.
He has worked with other leading orthopaedic surgeons around the country to improve the design of total shoulder implants. Dr. Grey is also participating in a number of research studies that are focused on various aspects of shoulder replacement surgery.
He takes care of patients from OCR's service area of northern Colorado, Wyoming, and western Nebraska.
Outside of medicine Dr. Grey enjoys spending time with his family and taking in a few basketball games.
