Thomas Hecker, DPM
Dr. Tom Hecker is a board-certified podiatry physician who has patient appointments in our Fort Collins and Loveland, CO, offices.
He provides general foot and ankle podiatry care. Dr. Hecker's practice has an emphasis on foot and ankle sports medicine and the care of athletic and recreational injuries.
He has been a member of OCR for more than 10 years. Dr. Hecker joined us in 2001 after six years of private practice in Iowa and Nebraska.
Dr. Hecker takes care of patients from northern Colorado, Wyoming, and western Nebraska.
The combining of orthopaedics and podiatry is a natural fit for the foot and ankle patients at OCR. Along with orthopaedic surgeons Drs. Mike Houghton and Wes Jackson, and podiatry colleague Nathan Hunt, DPM, the four physicans treat all types of foot and ankle problems, ranging from sprains and athletic injuries, to complications from diabetes that affect the foot and ankle, to major ankle reconstruction and ankle replacement surgery.
