Rocci Trumper, MD

Dr. Rocci Trumper is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon and sports medicine specialist who sees patients at our Fort Collins, CO office.

The focus of his practice is the care of athletes' injuries, especially the evaluation and treatment of knee injuries in athletes of all ages. Dr. Trumper also performs a number of knee replacement surgeries (total knee surgery) each year.

Dr. Trumper's sports background and competitive nature help him understand the importance of returning from an injury safely and quickly. His goal is to help patients recover from injury or a condition like arthritis in order to achieve their athletic goals or resume the active lifestyle they enjoy.

With Dr. Sean Grey and Dr. Steve Yemm, Dr. Trumper serves as a Team Physician for the Colorado State University athletic department.

Besides taking care of patients, Dr. Trumper also has an active interest in orthopaedic research. His areas of interest include anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury, surgery, and recovery, hamstring injuries, and the use of platelet-rich plasma in orthopaedics.

Dr. Trumper takes care of patients from OCR's service area of northern Colorado, Wyoming, and western Nebraska.

He is a native of Holyoke, CO. Outside of medicine, Dr. Trumper enjoys spending time with his family.
