Billing Team Lead

 The Billing Team Lead is responsible for:

  • Conducting training of processes/protocols with new and existing Insurance Coordinators
  • Communicating and making recommendations regarding needs to managers
  • Various routine procedures associated with entering patient demographic and insurance information, office charges, surgery charges, payments, and adjustments into the computer
  • Working closely with the insurance coordinators to develop a thorough understanding of OCR participation with insurance carriers
  • Performing cashiering duties involving settlements of patient accounts and related clerical activities, issuing receipts, preparing bank deposits, and maintaining a balanced cash drawer
  • Additional duties as assigned

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have 1 year experience in data entry (preferably in a medical environment)
  • Have proven speed and accuracy in data entry and 10-key procedures
  • Have strong organizational and communication skills required

Job Type: Full-Time

Pay: $16.25 – $23.35/hour, commensurate with experience
