The Medical Transcriptionist transcribes physicians’ daily chart notes, correspondence, histories and physicals, operative reports, projects, and articles for publication.
The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, has experience in MS Word, is an accurate and proficient typist with good basic language and sentence structure skills, has knowledge of medical terminology for clinic services, and has a preferred 2 years of medical transcription experience.
Orthopaedic transcription background with voice recognition transcribing knowledge is a plus.
This is a full-time, benefits eligible position working standard hours Monday through Friday that is based in-house with an excellent company culture.
Outsourcing will not be considered.
