Symposium Resources

Primary Care, Occ Med, ER Physicians, Chiropractors, Therapists, RN’s, and RT’s Are Invited

Overview

Our annual professional conference will take place Saturday, November 7, 2015, at the Embassy Suites Hotel and Conference Center in Loveland, CO.

The symposium offers presentations on various orthopaedic issues for primary care, occupational medicine, and ER physicians, as well as therapists, RN’s, chiropractors, and RT’s.

The conference is designed for family practice, internal medicine, pediatric, urgent care, occupational medicine, and emergency physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants, as well as therapists, registered nurses, chiropractors, and radiologic technologists.

Credits

Up to 5.0 hours of CME credits will be provided by the Texas Orthopaedic Association. TOA is an approved provider of CME by the Texas Medical Association.

ASRT has approved 5 credit hours for Radiologic Technologists.

We anticipate that CEU’s for AT’s will be available through NATABOC as they have been at past conferences.

Physician Attendance Note

Due to ACCME requirements, Texas Orthopaedic Association is able to provide CME credits to 40 physicians for the symposium. Therefore, there is a limit of 40 physician registrations for the conference.

This requirement by ACCME does not affect other specialties/disciplines.

Fee and Schedule

Cost to attend is $40 per person, or $30 per person with a group of five or more from the same office, practice, or institution. The fee covers course materials, breakfast, lunch, and the mid-morning break.

The conference will be held from 7:00 a.m., when breakfast and check-in begin, through approximately 2:30 p.m. The event will offer five hours of education — four hours of presentations and one hour of break-outs.

See the conference brochure for additional details.
