The MRI Registration/Receptionist is Responsible for:

  • Routine clerical duties associated with checking in of patients
  • Gathering all necessary insurance and demographic information, and obtaining appropriate referrals or authorization for patient MRI screens
  • Working closely with all personnel to ensure patient, physician, and co-worker satisfaction
  • Working closely with the MRI Manager to ensure that customer service is first priority and all daily tasks are completed in a timely and accurate manner
  • Maintaining current and up-to-date reference materials on insurance plans as provided

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have a minimum of 1 year experience in a position directly involving public contact and/or customer service
  • Be able to maintain composure when confronted with fast paced and stressful situations
  • Be able to multitask effectively
  • Have strong communication skills
  • Have strong familiarity with computers and computer software

Job Type: Full-Time

Pay: $15.00-$22.25/hour, commensurate with experience
