Karen graduated from Clemson University in 2018 with a Bachelors in Biological Sciences. She later graduated from the Hendersonville, NC Satellite Campus of Wingate University with a degree in Physician Assistant Studies. From 2022-2025, Karen worked in Salem, VA with a Neurosurgery team. She is now the Physician Assistant for Dr. Robert Benz working with spine patients. Outside of work, Karen enjoys spending lots of time outside in the mountains including trail running, biking, skiing, backpacking, and climbing.
