Surgery Centers

The Orthopaedic & Spine Center of the Rockies offers many of our patients the opportunity to have their surgery at one of our comfortable and convenient surgery centers.

In Fort Collins, our Surgery Center is part of our facility.

In Loveland, the surgery center we use most often is part of the Medical Center of the Rockies (UC Health).

In Longmont, the Front Range Orthopedic & Spine Surgery Center is nationally accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care and is Medicare certified.

The Orthopaedic & Spine Center physicians have taken care of tens of thousands of surgery patients since we opened our Surgery Center in Fort Collins in 1990.

We do several thousand operations here each year. Our Surgery Center has three operating rooms. We also have a Recovery Center with 10 comfortable, private rooms for overnight stays.

Your OCR physician will discuss your surgery with you in detail, focusing on your health situation or injury, the operation, your recovery.

Our Fort Collins surgery center also offers pain management services for patients. Specially trained physiatry and anesthesia physicians from other medical offices are available to perform pain blocks (injections). For more information, check our Physiatry specialty page.

Some patients may need to have their operation at a hospital in the area due to a health insurance or employer requirement. The surgeons have privileges at various hospitals in Fort Collins and Loveland.
