About Brian Lancaster, MD
Dr. Brian Lancaster is a board-certified sports medicine specialist.
Dr. Lancaster has extensive experience in sports medicine and non-surgical orthopaedics, including appointments as assistant team physician for the Los Angeles Lakers, UCLA Football team and as head team physician for UCLA men’s water polo, men’s baseball, men’s tennis, women’s golf and men’s volleyball. Dr. Lancaster will serve as one of our OCR Team Physicians for the Colorado State University athletic department.
Dr. Lancaster holds board certification through the American Board of Family Medicine, with a certificate of added qualifications in sports medicine. He is also a member of the American Medical Society of Sports Medicine. He completed his residency training program at the University of California Los Angeles where he also completed fellowship training in Primary Care Sports Medicine. Fellowships provide an additional year of focused experience in a specialized area of medicine.
Outside of medicine, he enjoys the Colorado outdoors and spending time with his family.
