About Colton Malesovas, MD
Dr. Colton Malesovas is a Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and Interventional Pain Management Specialist now seeing patients at the Orthopaedic & Spine Center of the Rockies in Longmont, Lafayette, and Westminster. He provides advanced non-surgical treatments for conditions affecting the spine, nerves, muscles, and joints — helping patients restore function, regain independence, and improve quality of life.
Dr. Malesovas completed his residency training in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation at the University of Colorado and fellowship training in non-operative spine and interventional pain medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles. He joins OCR’s Spine Team offering a wide range of interventional options for patients, from teenagers through older adults. His clinical expertise includes the treatment of spine injuries, sports injuries, chronic spine pain, radiculopathy, and sciatica, with a particular interest in neck, mid-back, and low-back pain.
He performs a variety of advanced interventional procedures, including electromyography (EMG), epidural steroid injections (ESI), sacroiliac (SI) joint injections, medial branch block injections, radiofrequency ablations, the Intracept® procedure, and spinal cord stimulator therapy. Dr. Malesovas does not manage long-term opioid medications, instead focusing on evidence-based, minimally invasive approaches to pain relief.
