Platelet Rich Plasma Injections (PRP)

Restore. Repair. Renew.

What is PRP?

PRP is an injection of your own blood that has been spun down to increase concentration of platelets. The concentrated blood has growth factors and proteins that help initiate and regulate wound healing. The goal is to induce an inflammatory response in the diseased tendon to promote healing. Regenerative medicine focuses on repairing, replacing, or regenerating damaged tissues and organs by harnessing the body’s natural healing abilities. Our physicians use advanced ultrasound guidance to deliver PRP injections with precision and accuracy.

Request an appointment with one of our non-operative sports medicine specialists (Dr. Ebel, Dr. Lancaster, Dr. Ng, or Dr. Torri) to see if PRP could be right for you!
