OCR Is Seeking New Clinic-Based Podiatrist in 2015-16

FORT COLLINS, Colo. — The Orthopaedic & Spine Center of the Rockies is seeking a new physician to join the practice in 2015 or 2016. The position is for a clinic-based podiatrist.

The new podiatry physician will help OCR keep up with current and future patient requests for appointments. This doctor will succeed Dr. Thomas Hecker, who left the practice in mid-September.

The position requires a DPM, completion of residency or fellowship, and licensed or license-eligible in Colorado. The candidate may be board certified or board-eligible.

The new physician will join OCR’s Foot and Ankle Team, comprised of two fellowship-trained orthopaedic foot and ankle surgeons and one fellowship trained podiatrist.

Our practice consists of 25 specialist physicians in orthopaedics, spine, sports medicine, sports concussion, and podiatry. The doctors practice at our offices in Fort Collins and Loveland, Colorado. We are a busy, growing practice founded in 1969, which features excellent quality, collegial relationships, and outstanding facilities.

OCR has hired a number of new physicians since 2008 to help keep up with patient demand for orthopaedic care.

Besides our two clinic buildings, OCR has a physician-owned surgery and recovery center, an MRI center at our Fort Collins location, therapy services at both clinics (including aquatherapy in Fort Collins), digital X-ray and PACS systems, and paid call coverage for two hospitals, including regional trauma center (one level II and one level III center).
