Thomas Sachtleben, MD
Dr. Sachtleben has extensive experience in sports medicine and non-surgical orthopaedics, including appointments as team physician for the U.S. Ski Team and the Colorado Rockies. He also works with high school teams in Fort Collins.
Dr. Sachtleben holds board certification from the American Board of Family Medicine, and also has a certificate of added qualifications in sports medicine. His board certification includes his specialty of sports medicine.
In addition, he has fellowship (advanced) training in sports medicine. Dr. Sachtleben completed his sports medicine fellowship at Moses Cone Hospital and Murphy/Wainer Orthopedics in Greensboro, N.C. He did his residency training program at the University of Florida.
He joined the Orthopaedic & Spine Center in 2008, after three years in practice at Associates in Family Medicine.
He previously practiced in Colorado Springs and Steamboat Springs for seven years.
Dr. Sachtleben takes care of patients from OCR’s service area of northern Colorado, Wyoming, and western Nebraska.
Outside of medicine, he enjoys the Colorado outdoors and spending time with his family.
