Dale Martin, MD
Dr. Dale Martin is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon who sees patients in our Loveland, Fort Collins, and Greeley, CO, offices.
His passion for sports activities, particularly snow skiing and bicycling, is a natural for treating the injuries and disorders associated with athletes and active people and getting them back to the activity level they want.
In Dr. Martin’s practice, the surgeon helps patients who have a wide variety of sports-related injuries and orthopaedics, such as:
- Knee surgery, including ACL repairs
- Knee replacement surgery
- Shoulder replacement surgery
- Rotator cuff and other shoulder soft-tissue surgeries
Dr. Martin has a fellowship (advanced) training in sports medicine at the University of Alabama Sports Medicine Institute. A fellowship gives orthopaedic surgeons an additional, sixth year of focused training and patient care in their specialty area, following the completion of their five-year residency program.
He completed his residency training program at the Medical College of Virginia, now part of VCU.
Dr. Martin also has a background in orthopaedic research.
He holds board certification from the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (since 1994).
Dr. Martin takes care of patients from OCR’s service area of northern Colorado, Wyoming, and western Nebraska. He performs knee and shoulder surgeries primarily at hospitals and surgery centers in Loveland.
