Chris Stockburger, MD
Dr. Stockburger completed his fellowship training in hand and upper extremity surgery at the University of Utah Department of Orthopaedics in Salt Lake City, Utah. The focus of Dr. Stockburger’s practice is hand surgery, along with surgery for injuries and disorders of the wrist, fingers, arm, elbow, and shoulder. He takes care of many people who have work-related injuries or conditions.
Dr. Stockburger has contributed to research on multiple topics including patient-centered decision making, thumb arthritis surgery, and traumatic cycling injuries.
Dr. Stockburger grew up in Fort Collins, CO and graduated from Rocky Mountain High School. He is excited to return to Colorado and provide care to the community he grew up in.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Stockburger enjoys spending time with his wife Jenny, who is a Ob-Gyn at the Women’s Clinic of Northern Colorado, and their twins Ben and Sophie. He also enjoys all the outdoors that Colorado has to offer including cycling, running with his dogs Copper and Bryce, skiing and hiking.
